Poets Meet Painters 2012 is a competition for poems inspired by works of art exhibited at Mill Cove Gallery and Sculpture Garden, or displayed on the Mill Cove Gallery website. The first prize is €200, and the competition will be judged by the poet and critic Cherry Smyth. All shortlisted poems will be included in an online and/or printed anthology, and the authors will be invited to a public reading in August 2012. The closing date for entries is 1 July 2012.
